BAD CAMEO is a MASTERPIECE?! - New Music Podcast (Lil Yachty, Lupe Fiasco, Imagine Dragons, Uboa)
Yeah I was pretty disappointed with this album. So I was hella happy when parannoul dropped a solo again
Fury was the B-side on the single of Sing for Absolution, at least it was in Europe.
Great video as always, home the community stuff as well as the discord is going well!!
Thank you so much! We want to wait a while to open the Discord since it'd be such a small handful of people joining right now. We're tweaking things to hopefully get a farther reach right now though, so hopefully soon. We'll make sure to keep you updated :)
I actually kinda enjoyed the album
Oh yeah, it's definitely not terrible. Just inconsistent and feels a little messy. That hatsune miku track is a banger fr.
It’s just so derivative, you can tell he’s been listening to a lot of slums. I do appreciate that there’s finally a male drumless artist who’s good at singing tho (siifu is good too but he’s kind of his own thing)
I can definitely see where slums parallels could be drawn, but dirravitive feels way too far. Everybody in this general subgenre/aesthetic sounds pretty similar to an extent. I mean, if Aler is dirrivative, everybody in Griselda is too ig, and I feel like that'd be a weird take.
you should review Trapt’s new album
Arguably the best AOTY so far. DVNE's album is a close second though.
Haven't checked that one out. I'll put it on the list!
Chuja się znasz na muzyce
wanna add that we do like the album even if this sounds negative :) It's jus a little messy is all, still like 8/10. also, checked out Amaarae's last album and it slaps tbh
Ulcerate only releases 10/10 albums
Guess who’s back skit isn’t slim shady talking it’s another well known character of eminems named Ken keniff who appears on multiple of his old albums which shows you haven’t done enough research on Eminem to even compare this album to his other ones. Respect the opinion though.
also I suggest going to listen to relapse and recovery if you truly believe he peaked after the trilogy
Ah ok, that makes sense, didn't realize that skit was supposed to be Ken Keniff. Micah and I have heard those first three albums numerous times, but most of that listening was years ago, and we typically both skip skits. Between that factor, the album revolving around Slim Shady, and the title being a reference to a Slim Shady song, Ken Keniff didn't really come to mind. As far as Relapse and Recovery go, they've always been fine enough albums, just nothing very memorable in my experience. Seems like the whole "Re" series of albums marked a gradual fall-off in quality, and I don't think that's a very hot take. I can totally see how there's an argument to be made they're great, though. There's good songs on both for sure.
Post-death.
Very honored to be reviewed on this lovely podcast! :D Yall are great with your thoughts and I appreciate it greatly <3 Hope yalls channel gets more traction!
Thank you so much :) We're honored to review your album!
Well... i knew it from gran turismo, but i dont get when people criticize bands making commercial music, dude you yourself said it was in fifa!
I can't speak for anyone else, but when I use that as a criticism, it means it's just too crowd-pleasing and generic to be interesting. There's a time and place for that sort of thing of course, but it just doesn't feel genuine to me.
In Your Corner and Don't Forget Me being good:
Not Fire In These Hills? That's the best pretty easily imo
LOOM is their best since S+M. More clean production and an actual proper distinct sound palette for every track
Idk man, I just felt like it was sonically dated and lyrically cringe pretty often, and that's not usually something I get from ID. I feel like Mercury Act I wad way better, possibly better than S+M and Night Visions. Glad you're enjoying it though :)
LOOM sounds like their best since S+M
I disagree I'm a huge imagine dragons fan and I think mercury act 1 was their best since S+M but I really don't like this album
Thank you very much for your review, you are the best!🐐🐐🐐🐐
YOOOOOO This is hype
Np!! Thank you for sending it our way.
Thx for the kind words
No problem man! Thank you for the great music.
YOOOOO Can’t wait for more music
you have to listen to kasabians earlier stuff: west ryder and velociraptor. A lot better than their latest album
I remember listening to their s/t and I was pretty indifferent on it. I'd be down to give the two you mentioned a shot though
Legends 🫶
YOOOOO!!!!

Lil Sip is the hottest rapper I have ever heard #heat
It's a shame youtube held your comment for review, cos you were spitting facts
aye ya'll lit you know what i'm saying-about to spend that couple hundred grand right now on various drinks. cheers guys. me and lil sip can go sip for sip any day of the week i will drive my coupe to Russia and do a sip-off of any NON alcoholic drink as I do NOT drink it is bad for your brain and I gotta keep my genius up to the MAX. NBA JAM MUMBLE RAP IS A LEGITIMITE genre thanks to ME and you guys.
fly*
Helll yeah man 🔥🔥 we appreciate u lol
NBA JAM MUMBLE RAP DA BEST MUSIC 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥☄️🏀🏀🏀🏀
Objectively one of their worst collaborative projects they've ever made
I love this album I wish more people would talk about it 🥹 Second half of Midnight is just perfection
FACTS! The whole album is beautiful, but Midnight is a standout. I'd totally argue Missing Man and Twice are also some of the best songs of the year. The album has some hype behind it, but it deserves more
As much as I luv p rock, Bad Cameo was way too beautiful to say it’s worse than LSH
Well F & L then The cool, T&Y then Drogas Wave and 2 years ago he released Drill music in Zion, you should try and check all, each is a completely different experience.
Planning to very soon!
F-150 Core!!😂😂😂
hey bro, would you be down to do a reaction/review of my brand new NBA Jam 2000 mumble rap concept album? It is on my page. No worries if you hate it even. cheers!
I dont do many reaction videos rn, but we'd be happy to put it in the next podcast episode if that's alright!
ua-cam.com/video/bosOufNsYrc/v-deo.html got the episode up now :)
There are plenty of dissonant death metal acts, including Gorguts, Imperial Triumphant (dissonant black/death metal), Suffering Hour, Artificial Brain, and Ulcerate, just to name a few.
Oh for sure, we were exaggerating a bit. My bad if it seemed overdramatic. The point was more just that metal subgenres seem hyperspecific to an alarming degree. It's like if someone makes metal, it has to fit a certain criteria and check off boxes just to be considered valid. Seems like it may limit creativity, which makes sense given how much metal feels nearly identical to pre-existing projects. The same thing could be said for electronic music, strangely enough.
@PASSTHEauxCORD as much as I love electronic music (in addition to metal), I don't know enough about it to know all there was a bunch of subgenres, but I guess it makes sense, lol. I do hear ya, too. It can get really specific at times. I'm old enough to remember when metal was just "metal."🤘🤘🤘
my bf kinda tortures me with taylor, I know all her records, she got a dozen songs that I like but most of her albums are borderline boring too me. so I gave gracie a shot and I think what you describe as a rip off of taylor swift is actually quite nice and refreshing, if you want something taylor esque, but are sick of taylor yourself. so i showed this to my bf and he seems to like it too.
Ah, I see, that's an interesting perspective. I don't really revisit Taylor's music much, so I haven't had time to get tired of it. Glad this is a welcome change of pace for you though!
he probably edges to to playboi carti and lil uzi
Nah. I'm a casual fan of both, but Micah doesn't listen to Uzi and doesn't like Carti much at all.
Yeah bro fr
Personally I didn’t like it that much when I first listened to it but most of his music hits so much harder in the right environment, just give it another listen every once in a while
That's so true actually, I can remember the settings in which his previous projects have clicked with me. I'll come back to it in a while and see if I have stronger thoughts on it.
It is fantastic.
I mean they’ve been around for ages in different forms he’s just officially releasing them is all
Ah ok that makes sense. Wasn't really sure of the background on the songs.
Good video!!
Awesome album 😍🤘
I love 'Girl' 😊
